Search Engine Optimization Definition (SEO)
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of changing the online visibility of a site or a web page in a web search engine's outstanding results—usually passed on to as “natural”, “organic “ , or “earned” results. The earlier (or higher rated on the search results page), and a website appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will get from the search engine’s users; we can later transform these visitors into clients. SEO may purpose different search, including image search, video search, academic search, news search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. SEO differs from local search engine optimization in that we concentrate the latter on optimizing a business’ online presence so that search engines will display its web pages when a user begins a local search for its products or services. The former instead is more focused on national or global searches.
